Inclusive Graffiti Workshops for All Ages and Abilities
At Layla’s Murals, we believe that creativity should be accessible to everyone. Our graffiti workshops in Newbury are designed to be inclusive, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities. Whether it’s a group of schoolchildren, young carers, adults with additional needs or elderly residents, each session is adapted to meet the needs of the group. We provide a positive, supportive environment where everyone can explore their creativity through spray paint and street art.
Workshops can be tailored to suit a range of settings and objectives, from confidence-building and skill development to community collaboration or simple creative fun. We use safe, easy-to-handle spray paints and offer adaptive tools where required. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to get involved. Every participant has the chance to contribute to a finished artwork or take home their own unique creation.
What to Expect from a Layla’s Murals Workshop
Each graffiti workshop begins with a warm introduction to street art, including examples of Layla’s own work and a brief history of graffiti culture. Participants are guided through basic spray-paint techniques and shown how to use the equipment safely and effectively. We then move on to sketching out ideas and getting hands-on with paint—either working on individual pieces or contributing to a collaborative mural.
Workshops can take place indoors or outdoors, depending on the setting, and all materials are provided. Sessions typically run from one to three hours, though full-day or multi-session workshops are also available. We ensure that every participant feels included and supported throughout, offering one-to-one guidance where needed. The result is not only a vibrant piece of art but a memorable, confidence-building experience for all involved.
Perfect for Schools, Charities, Events and Team Building

For youth groups and charities, the sessions provide a fun, therapeutic outlet that encourages participation and builds confidence. We’ve also worked with residential homes and day centres, delivering adapted workshops that bring colour and joy to participants of all ages.
